The Kleemann Kompressor unit consists of a Roots type Kom- pressor with an integrated air-to-water intercooler and is the only known system to combine the intake manifold, kompressor and intercooler into one integral unit.

This construction develops boost at very low engine revs, and maintains boost consistently throughout the rev range.
As a result engine has a characteristi- cally smooth power band with no peaks or valleys - just immediate power on demand without any hesitation.
