In addition to building some of the world’s most luxurious and exclusive Mercedes-Benz vehicles for publics roads, Kleemann has also built record setting Mercedes Benz vehicles. A point clearly underlined when Kleemann clinched two world records as the fastest street-legal sedan and SUV, early in the 2000’s.
Kleemann sets extremely high quality standards for all of our products and two world records showed the enormous potential of the Kleemann Kompressor System and the engine and chassis tuning programs. In 2002 Danish race driver Jason Watt drove 338 km/t (210 mph) in a 607 Hp Kleemann E55K S8 (W210) making it the world’s fastest four-door saloon car at the time. Less than a year later a Jason Watt drove a Kleemann tuned ML55K S8 to a remarkable 282 km/h (175 mph) on Nardo in southern Italy.
